The zero emission 106ZE, an electrically powered 12.5 tonne mobile materials handler, sets new standards for materials handling equipment. Lifting capacity has been increased by 27% and maximum height by 6% over its diesel engine counterparts.

The twin battery packs that power the 106ZE provide 930 Ampere/hour to the electric motors that feed the load sensing hydraulic system. Low power consumption permits the crane to carry out all the functions simultaneously, as with a diesel powered machine and a fully charged battery pack will enable the Solmec 106ZE to operate for a full working day. With the same dimensions as Solmec diesel engine models, but with improved performance this new model not only boasts improved performance but also reduced energy consumption and lower maintenance costs.
